The Ford Motor Company is one of the largest and most iconic brands in the world.
For over 117 years, Ford has been a forerunner in the automotive and industrial landscape.
Research showed that when customers considered certain Ford vehicles they felt the product was out of date and not technologically advanced.
However, Ford knew this wasn’t the case.
Whilst repsecting Ford’s heritage and famous logo, our task was to explore new visual treatments that would positively modify customers’ perception of the brand.
We worked closely with Ford North America and its lead agency to explore how the iconic ‘Blue Oval’ logo could be modernised.
By ‘unlocking’ the elegant Ford script, we helped create a new and powerful visual treatment — a valuable addition to Ford’s marketing toolkit that enabled marketers to present the company in a relevent and contemporary manner.
