The Client

 Angela Catterns is a well-known Australian media veteran and broadcaster.

Depending on your generation, you may have seen her on Simon Townsend’s Wonder World! or heard her present Mornings on Triple J, the National Evening Show on ABC local Radio and Breakfast on 702 ABC Sydney, where she went to number one in the ratings.

She has also broadcast on commercial radio stations 2SM and VegaFM in Sydney, and on WKYS in Washington DC.

Angela’s distinctive tones were the Voice of the Olympics… recording all the public domain announcements for Sydney Olympic Park and she was the voice of pre-flight safety announcements for Qantas. She also presented their in-flight music channel ‘Soul Food’.

You can still hear Catterns tellling you to take your seat at the Sydney Opera House.

The Brief

We were commissioned to design a refreshed website for Angela that not only captured the essence of her professional journey but also showcasesd her unique interests.

The Outcome

Despite its contemporary look, the site remains simple and user-friendly, making it easy for visitors to find what they need. The website even includes a special nod to her beloved dog, Sailor.
